BEIJINGrhinorsc2reel, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- At the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiangrhinorsc2reel, Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji Sitiveni Rabuka will pay an official visit to China from Aug. 12 to 21.

Born in September 1948 in Fiji, Rabuka has served as the chief of staff and commander of the Fijian Military Forces. From 1992 to 1999, he was the prime minister of Fiji. In 2018, he was the leader of the opposition in Parliament. In 2021, he founded the People's Alliance party of Fiji and became its leader. He was elected prime minister in December 2022.
